Improvements for Google Tasks™
Improvements for Google Tasks™ is a Chrome add-on developed by Mihai Alexandru Bîrsan. It is a free tool that enhances the functionality of Google Tasks™ by highlighting tasks and labels based on keywords and patterns.
With this add-on, as you type in Google Tasks™, the text will be highlighted according to specific patterns. For example, the pattern "(x)" will result in a red highlight background and the "(x)" will become an icon. Similarly, the pattern "/!\" will create a yellow highlight background and the "/!\" will become an icon. Other patterns include "" for intense blue highlight, "" for light blue highlight, and "(~)" to fade the whole task and display "(~)" as an icon.
Labels in Google Tasks™ are also enhanced with this add-on. Labels can be created using special characters followed by any words, optionally separated by dashes. The supported label patterns include "+alphanumdash", "#alphanumdash", "@alphanumdash", "{*anychar*}", and "{digits}". These patterns allow for easy organization and categorization of tasks.
